Market innovator appoints pioneering business transformer

October 1st, 2012. London, United Kingdom.

Ethical Goods today announced the appointment of Wanda Goldwag as Non-Executive Chair

Ethical Goods helps businesses turn their ethics and natural social responsibility into competitive advantage; but this time it’s done it for itself attracting renowned business leader Wanda Goldwag to join the board as chair.

Wanda has a track record of maximising opportunities in industries going through changes, from the music industry to recruitment, notably as a pioneer in loyalty marketing when she led British Airways AIR MILES business through its most innovative years. “The Ethical Goods proposition is new and compelling – liberate pride from within a business in the ethics of who they are and accelerate achievement of commercial goals – a much over used phrase but for once it applies, its win/win” Wanda said.

Managing Director Duncan Parker says, “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Wanda to our growing team. Wanda brings a wealth of commercial experience with a huge vision and ability to direct us there. At a time where increasing numbers of consumers are looking for both value and values, we feel well positioned with Wanda at the helm to support manufacturers and retailers adjust to this new environment.”

Wanda is a non-executive director of PRS, one of the UK’s leading music businesses. She is general advisor to Smedvig Venture Capital and a Civil Service Commissioner appointed by HM the Queen.

Wanda has other interests in the ethical space as Finance Director of Eaves Housing, a charity providing safe housing and care for women who have been affected by domestic violence and previously as a Director of Challenge Consultancy Ltd, one of the UK’s leading providers of Equal Opportunities training to over 8000 individuals a year in some 70 organisations.

Also within Wanda’s portfolio are non-executive chair roles at True North Human Capital Ltd, a company that manages the ‘end to end’ recruitment of senior management into business critical roles and Surelaw the legal back office business.

Wanda’s position at Ethical Goods is effective October 1st.
